02 Frequently asked

What the access layer does—and does not do.

What does Zulde store?

An encrypted recipient email, a keyed hash of the six-character code, status timestamps, and minimal non-sensitive access events.

Does Zulde store documents?

No. Zulde does not upload, host, index, or retain documents.

Does Zulde store the destination?

No. A fresh one-time destination is requested from the shared service only after a successful lookup.

How long does a code work?

The code remains reusable until the issuing integration revokes it. Each generated destination is short-lived.

Why am I temporarily blocked?

Repeated attempts trigger short lockouts designed to slow automated code guessing.

Can I recover a lost code?

Contact the organization that issued the code. Zulde cannot display or recover full codes from its database.
